#DonnieEdwards is a former #NFL football player who has spent the last 25 years giving back to our military. He has done 9 #USO tours, visited many military bases, and accompanied hundreds of #WWII veterans and #Vietnam veterans back to their #battlefield
In April of 2006, Donnie Edwards brought WWII veterans back to their battlefields for the first time. Since that time he has accompanied hundreds of WWII veterans from the top of Mount Suribachi in Japan to the top of Eagles Nest in Germany. Donnie works tirelessly to fulfill the wishes and needs of our veterans and to give them the honor and respect they so readily deserve.

WWII Veteran Disobeys Orders And Saves Lives
This year marks the 80th anniversary of #DDay in #Normandy France. We can't wait to return with 50 #WWIIveterans, the most we have ever brought with us to Normandy!!!
Hearing stories like this from George Sarros, at Utah Beach, the location he landed on D-Day, is why we do this. For him to be able to be there and tell this story and touch the names of those who were there with him, has not only a huge impact on him but a residual impact on all who hear their story for years to come.
We are looking forward to hearing so many more wonderful stories like this one when we return June 2, 2024 for the celebrations and commemorations taking place all over France. Remember their stories!

i was born in 1950 but my Grandfather attened D-Day in his Ship HMS Honeysuckle and an Uncle drove a Tank all British and another Uncle was on a Destroyer they often told me when i was young how great the invasion was but many soldier got hurt and killed but my family survived to tell me what it was like !
